The Grex Group Theatre is currently seeking a dramaturg for our New York City summer production of Moliere's The Pretentious Young Ladies. We are a brand new organization who specializes in the production of small plays in New York City for the purposes of research and material scholarly theatre journal articles as it relates to our discoveries in both rehearsal and performance. All positions for our summer production are non-paid, and the actual rehearsal period is 7 days, with a 2 day performance run taking place on August 4, and 5th.

We seek an early-career dramaturg who would like to gain experience, and network in the New York area, and who might be interested in contributing to this project.

We can be contacted at grexgrouptheatre@gmail.com, and our web site is www.grexgroup.weebly.com

**In discussing possibilities with out of state dramaturgs, we have entertained the idea of having some skype sessions throughout our rehearsal process if that makes it feasible for a dramaturg who cannot be in NYC to join our team.

 To whom this may concern,

I am currently in my final years of high school, and participating in a higher level Drama course. We have been given a research assignment on Dramaturgy, and i was wondering if someone could please help me out on the basic background information i should know. For instance, what is dramaturgy? What is the roll of a dramaturge? And any other useful information you can give me will be much appreciated!

Thank you!

I believe a website can be a work of art, but performance art focuses on live interaction with human bodies. I think we need to distinguish live and virtual performance art if we're talking about a static website. In case of social media networks the creation and maintenance of such a platform can actualyy be considered some kind of performance art. Any thoughts on this?

Greetings from London.

Has anyone ever wondered how to optimize the performance quality of your website? Is it a difficult thing to do? If you image that every website has its own goal, its own content, how can you attract the right audience for it? The internet is such a complex network connected by search engines, social media networks, etc.

Can anyone offer an opinion on different strategies on how to approach a website from theatrical point of view? Are there any practical tools that can be used to analyze the performance quality of these portals to social communities and other online dimensions. Can a website be a work of performance art?

Feel free to contribute. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance
